Forward To A Friend Feature

eNewsletter Pro supports a Forward To A Friend Feature that allows subscribers to forward a newsletter along with a custom message to their friends.  These "friends" email addresses can be captured and stored in the system.  In version 8 and higher up to 10 friends email addresses can be entered.

To enable this feature in our software, click Preferences/other options.  Check the box titled Save Forward To A Friend Email Addresses.

How do I customize the message displayed on the Forward To A Friend Screen?

This message is found under Preferences.

Where do I view the forward to a friend email messages that have been captured?

Click Subscribers/View Forwards.

Can people who receive the forwarded newsletter also forward to other friends?

To allow non-subscribers to forward messages, click Preferences/Other Options.  Check the box titled Allow anyone to use Forward To A Friend Feature.

Note: Please note that although friends email addresses are capture in the eNewsletter Pro email marketing software, they are not automatically added as a subscriber since they have not consented to opting in.

Also, when someone attempts to forward an email, if the recipient is found on the opt-out list they are not sent the message.
